The Member’s Day event, held at the FA Elite Performance Centre at St George’s Park on 27th September, promises to be interesting this year with the invited speaker, Dr Dugmore, who is a leading authority on corporate wellness and the impact it can have on the success of a business.
Reducing stress and heart disease in management
Dr Dugmore’s 30-year experience lies in the field of cardiovascular medicine and wellness. Currently, he works within the football industry and is on the Board of the League of Managers Association at the FA Elite Performance Centre, where the event will take place. His Fit to Manage program focusses on reducing stress and heart disease in management, and his knowledge and experience has been relied upon by a wide range of football managers, in addition to his other clients.
The Chief Executive of the BMF is looking forward to hearing the speech, as he has heard Dr Dugmore speak before in 2013. He said, ‘They [attendees] can expect a fascinating insight into protecting yourself and your team from the stresses and strains of corporate life. Following on from that event, Dorian designed a Wellness Programme specifically tailored for our industry, which the BMF has implemented with its own staff, and BMF members will find extremely helpful.’
The entire event will be held over two days and will include the regular business conference and the BMF black-tie dinner. Attendees will also be able to take the opportunity to tour the England football team’s training ground, St George’s Park, the day before the talk on 26th September.
